Code Green Community is a collection of individuals pursuing a common goal of growing a local resilient and sustainable community in the greater Tampa Bay area. We come together with specific tasks of collaboration on sustainable projects both individually and as a group to transition our community away from fossil fuel use. We support and promote the Transition movement.
This is your online community website to utilize and communicate with people throughout the Tampa bay area to create an offline movement towards sustainable development.
We desire to create a community that works towards sharing resources in adapting to both global warming and Peak Oil. We are a cultural movement website seeking to change the local Tampa Bay culture to build the infrastructure to get us on pace for a lower carbon economy. Join us in our pursuit, together we can make a difference.
Our Goals and Objectives are to inspire 450,000 people in the Tampa Bay area to work on transitioning away from fossil fuels and creating a green economy! We can collaborate using online social network Code Green Community to organize a green economy movement!
