Event Description

Did you know it takes 256 gallons of water to produce one tee shirt? Did you know that 60% of the world's population relies upon donations of clothing and shoes? Did you know that out of 10 billion tons of discarded clothing.....only 2 1/2 billion tons are recycled? Come hear John Helm of City Recycling Group give a presentation about how we all could be doing a lot more to get unwanted clothing into the hands of people who need it. Bring a friend along with you to this important discussion group meeting!
