Local food and agriculture is becoming one of the most important issues of our times. Come hear speaker, Karen Fraley, of the Florida West Coast Resource Conservation & Development will give a talk entitled, "The Nature of Southwest Florida: Cultural Beginnings & Agricultural Endings". Karen will discuss how Native Americans used the land for a good life. She will discuss how current practices of land development impacts our culture and lifestyle. Bring along a friend or two! Everyone will come away with some new ideas for the creation of an entrepreneurial local food and agriculture economy! We all can and do...make a difference!
