Marie, glad you made it to the Occupy Tampa meeting.   I just watched the video.  It was just too far away for me.  Good work, Ladies!

I just planted my luffa about two months ago.  A book I just checked says it takes about three months for edible fruit to appear.  So I haven't been concerned about it (yet).

@Andy K--I remember you saying you didnt get any loofa on your vines.  I was looking at mine and noticed that the vine with all the loofa on is the only one I left in a pot.  I didnt see it before because the vines intermingled with each other.  Hmmm wonder why?  All have gotten ample water, sunlight......

55 gal drum barrels. THICKER WALLED than the blue ones. Cleaned and ready to use for; RAIN WATER COLLECTION - OIL STORAGE - MULCH - SHOP DEBRIS - FLOATING BOAT DOCKS - AQUARIUM WATER STORAGE etc, etc.
Each barrel has two screw on bung caps. Or you can easily cut the top off. Originally had a citric acid chemical in them. Plastic barrels are a #2 grade plastic

HOW MANY WOULD YOU LIKE?

Had a great time at the UU. Very productive with a truckload (literally) of mulch moved onto the beds in an 8" layer. Trellised the yardlong beans, which made it to 8ft. in height, with cut bamboo. Cut back the okra and staked up the bell peppers which are still bearing. Got too dark to plant the pinto and black bean starts so will probably stop back tomorrow. The sunset was breathtaking! Can't wait to get the youth out to plant. jj

I have an appointment in Pasco, but if it's still light (and preferably not raining...) I will stop by!
