Attended Earth Day with the Suncoast Co-op.  Lots of networking and interested people in the Co-op.

Seed/plant exchange and sale is scheduled for the 18'th from 10-2.

Working on getting some of the Master Gardeners out for some classes as well.

Looks like the page is back, just a bit hard to find now.

More seeds planted, tomatoes, peppers,eggplant.

Farmers Market had 4 vendors show up and it was cold to say the least.  First organic vegetable order due to arrive on the 27'th.  Hopefully it will be a good selection and we'll bring them in for the Farmers Market.

The cold got to a bunch of plants before the greenhouse could be completed.  We did take the hoop structure and put it over two of the raised beds.  Put up some string to use for a trellis in the greenhouse, found some material to make a smaller trellis as well.  Alex snagged 4 benches that we'll use in the greenhouse to starting plants.  Got a few more pictures to post.  Talked about a couple of rows for potatoes.  Gene found a nice bunch of sweet potatoes.
Talked with 2 more vendors who are interested in the Farmers Market starting on the 14'th.

The Habitat Board of Directors has approved a community garden.  Plans are being worked out but looks like 10x5 plots will be laid out.

Planted some Papaya seeds (2 varieties) and looking for a nice harvest sometime in the fall.  Also found a local place for seed potatoes and will get a few rows planted for early summer harvest.

The Farmers Market is coming along and we got our banners to be posted the week of the market.

Farmers Market vendors coming together, hoping to snag a few more from another Farmers market that doesn't do anything on Saturdays.

Confirmed another vendor today for the Farmers Market restarting on 1/14/2012.  I hope everyone comes out.

Sat will be more work on the greenhouse and doing a bit of pruning in the raised beds.
