Eric and I are very proud of our two sons. They are kind, good humored and hard working young men. As parents, over the years we’ve done our share of the good cop - bad cop routine. The goal for August was to spend the month preparing our food in new and interesting ways. We swore off the stove and grill. We don’t own a microwave. I melted the door in a tragic kitchen incident years ago and we just never replaced it. So we were left with fire, raw food and rocks.

Sorry for the delay in posting. Currently, Anna and I are in the “harvest” time of the year at our jobs. Things have ramped up considerably and we have some catching up to do. We have been actively chipping away at our goals, keeping notes and hope to get caught up this month.
So… this narrative will be Volunteer Month from Eric’s perspective.
