- Born and raised in the deep south--Tennessee and Alabama. Attended college on a music scholarship. Have served in the Peace Corps in Africa, run for public office, worked in high tech electronics industry, helped to found two elementary schools, have 3 grown children, 2 grown step-sons, 7 grandchildren, trained to be a Waldorf teacher, eat organic, recycle, etc. deeply interested in Anthroposophy.
