Tell your personal story...
Being an artist, musician and sculptor of clay, habitat, sanctuary and organic food production is awesome. I love life. My focus is broad and I do my best to live life fullly. My day to day life is being of service which includes designing and implementing pathways for health, personal growth and transformation. I do my best to encourage people to see beauty in all things, align with what is possible and experience personal freedom in simple, healthy, living. Lately I have narrowed the focus to growing organic gardens and servicing people with locally grown produce and prepared foods including medicinal teas, juices, and smoothies, sprouted seed salads and hummus and non denatured crackers.. to name a few items. I provide food for two local co-ops, three families in my neighborhood and an online produce market weekly.

Although, I have traveled the world the past 15 years, I am a St/ Petersburg Native. I graduated from the University of Florida in Landscape Architecture and practiced this profession formally in Gainesville Florida and then in Eugene Oregon, where I learned about Permaculture and bio dynamic gardening and now I am sharing experience and wisdom here in Gulfport Florida.

I am grateful to Florida and it's flora and fauna for many reasons. I love storms. I can live simply year round off of what is growing in the garden and what is unwanted in my neighborhood, like Surinam cherries, citrus etc. After, years of exploring the vegan diet, nutrition, fasting, internal cleansing, organic living in general, I decided to share my medicine and wisdom and recently gave birth to a mobile wellness resource called Peaceful Plate. This is a power with. rather then power over model for creating livelihood, building community and empowering others towards simple healthily, living. Realizing peace in our body and world, in this lifetime is the order and charge of my business. I believe and teach that it happens one purchase, meal, plate at a time. Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word for the practice of nonviolence it is also the name we call our band, and though I fail at times this is the aim and dedication of my life. WIth that I want to meet and help others.

Through weekly hands on gardening labs, 2 hour seminars and community building, we educate about organic gardening, vegan food preparation and conscious eating and how these practices, can quickly transform our bodies and inspire world peace. We have weekly vegan raw food potlucks with a guest speakers and sometimes live music. We are beginning a cooperative organic food buying club in Gulfport and soon an organic, locally grown locally made online store. We do this fearlessly, because there is no better time like now to be unstoppable!.

We have begun creating a Food Patch Work Project which includes a water harvesting demonstration whereby you can educate your self and then place your order to get a system going at your business or residence. The Food Patch project beginning at Annabel Butterfly Vintage Boutique in Gulfport and proceeds on down to Boca Ceiaga Bay, whereby every property in that corridor will an organic edible patch of food growing by fall. There are other corridors that are designated due to public interest. This is a big project that is connected with the 1% organic initiative, yet with education, vision and community support, we see ourselves as unstoppable. June 18th we are offering a forum GROWING GREENER!!Sustainable Urban Gardening with the aim of building a bridge of support
with our elected city officials and the community at large. The event aims to spotlight as many people and organizations that are currently living the dream of sustainability and peace in the immediate area. PLEASE join us in whatever way you can.
