My dad tried organic farming back in the 70's, and continues with his 'boutique' efforts now in NC. He did manage to infect both my sister and I with his passion for growing things--while my time is limited, my desire to have a hand in what I eat has never diminished, and I am currently working on a community garden project in my neighborhood: "We Grow From Here"

Researching local slow food efforts for my own community garden project! Met a couple of nice young ladies at Innisbrook's Green Day 5K from Simply Fresh
