This time of year I am in the process of fermenting the abundance that my garden is supplying. For this class I will have some ferments ready to taste and fresh veggies for us to prepare them so you can experience the full circle of making them. Beekeeper and natural living teacher and learner. I ferment and preserve food, make soap and safe cleaning products and learn all I can. Former chemistry teacher, marine chemist/researcher, and camp counselor among other things.

I left teaching after becoming exhausted with budget cuts to focus on living sustainably, learning things and building a life that feels right. I've since realized that I am a teacher at heart and now get to teach and share exactly what I want and hope will help us now and in the future.

Great class. I'm looking forward to exploring other means of fermentation... and of course, perfecting several different flavors of water kefir. Dakota likes the orange juice kefir and I like the ginger tea kefir the best. Also, good contact you sent me... I've already written the Weston A Price Chapter in Spring Hill. I've read the national web site before but never went beyond that. They must have had a speaker at Green World Path which is what led me to research them further. I'll keep you posted and let us know about your upcoming classes.
