Nana's Garden was born from a few different events. A homework question involving social networks with Seniors, a strong desire to break the chains of dependence, the strong desire to eat our own organic food and share that with others, seeing some Code Green Gardens in New Port Richey, and the Flyer Sara made for our new business. These were all part of the birth of Nana's Garden.

What brings you here? How did you hear about Code Green Community?
We first saw some gardens here in New port Richey and both Sara ans I were blown away, we would write the name down, and lose it. After a few times of this, we realized that Eric is a friend of my mother on Facebook and we quickly friend-ed him!

"A persons ability to take a compliment shows the depths of his Faith" ~Tara Woodruff

Have you ever received a compliment and immediately became weary of the givers motives or character? If you have never had this experience, then you don’t need to read on, you need to write!

Over the years I have been in both positions. For a very long time, I never trusted a person that went out of their way (or not) to tell me something good about me. I would become very tense and…

Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. Millard was a very successful business man and had provided for a luxurious life for his wife and children. After a short while Millard was able to convince Linda to talk with him. He flew to New York and they sat down to discus their problems. What they realized was that even though they had…
