Allow backyard hens in Pinellas County

Hi all. I live in Pinellas County and have been asking the county to allow chickens in all residential neighborhoods. They are now working on an ordinance to that effect. Next Tuesday, the 4H is planning to be at the July 27 County Commission meeting at 3pm in the Assembly Room on the 5th Floor. Citizens who would like to speak before the Board will have to fill out a card. Each person have 3 mins. to speak. Composting material available - great goat manure and poultry manure!!!

I have several stalls to clean that are full of great goat manure and wood shavings. This would be great to go in your compost bin to give it a real kick! I will be here on Tuesday and Thursday this week if you want to come load it. I have shovels, rakes, pitch forks and wheelbarrows so just come with your containers, truck or even trailer to haul and energy to shovel it..
