Fundraiser results!

We have had a great result from the fundraiser hosted today at Barbara's house. We raised a grand total of $185! Many new faces got to learn about Code Green Community as well as help by donating to our incorporation. Our member Rob Serenbetz's church the Spirit of Life UU has donated a total of $127 to our organization as well in helping to incorporate. The combination leads to a grand total of $312.

A/C?

I have lived without A/C in the summer for 6 years now. Fans, of course. The body can and does adjust. I knew this based on my childhood in the Philippines where practically no one had A/C, including my parents. I have met others here in Florida who don't use A/C.

Chicken goat and horse manure to prepare your fall garden!

Folks, my cup.....er pens runneth over with manure right now. Left hubby and son home alone while I spent two weeks gone - big mistake! I have a plethora of feed bags for those who want to bag their own or bring a pick up truck and/or trailer and let's shovel it full! Got a dump truck??? I have a market on Saturday but Sunday (earlier the better but after 9 am please - before the rains in late afternoon) I will be around as well as Monday.
