The Local Dirt is being created to further our understanding and others understanding of how local food, businesses, chefs, bartenders, servers, farms, farmers and neighbors affect their local community by buying, selling, shopping, delivering, frequenting and being a part of their local community. We are dedicated to being the voice for the slow-food movement in the Tampa Bay area and committed to bringing insightful articles about the people, places and things that make our local community so uniquely great.
All funds raised will go directly to the publication cause, in the hopes of attaining our goal of reaching a total circulation of 20,000 copies quarterly, distributed through partner locations throughout Tampa Bay.
