Thanks, Eric.

I want to give you advance notice.....I'm trying to get the new Florida Commissioner of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Adam Putnam, to be our speaker, Monday, June 6, 2011. If he doesn't come himself, a member of his staff probably will. Kindly tell folks about this special meeting of SEMINOLE DISCUSSION GROUP ON RECYCLING & SUSTAINABILITY. I'm going to see if I can reserve TWO library rooms, instead of one.

Eric, is the event I posted for March 7 only visible on my page?

Would it also be visible in the Transition Pinellas section, or only if the group I moderate has the name of Transition Pinellas?

Well sir, I say kudos to you!  Thank you for making something like this happen.  It's a great idea.  I hope to get the folks who are running other gardens on here so we can keep up with one another and support one another's efforts.

Thanks for the welcome greeting. I intend on being an active member in the community, just need to find out how. I'll start visiting the site on a regular basis, and see when I can attend something.

Thank you!

Are you guys ok with me posting events that are happening near me?  We do classes, projects and workshops in our garden as well as post events happening in the neighborhood.

Eric - I fully intended on going to the cistern workshop yesterday but, work got in the way!  Will you be doing another one?  Or could I maybe talk to you about conducting a workshop at my community garden?

I hope to meet you at The Bridge's panel discussion on Feb 26th at The Roosevelt.  You're doing a great job!  Thank you!

Thanks for your note, Eric. Our meeting went nicely. I'll elaborate on its content when you and I have a chance to chat.

I think I need to sequester myself to delve into THE TRANSITION HANDBOOK. I will only keep it a little while longer because you probably want to share it with others, as well. Thanks.                                                                                                        Mary

Eric, did you see the note I sent you on Jan. 21?

Tomorrow is our meeting with State Representative Larry Ahern. Would you like information following the visit?                                                                                 Mary

Eric, I have been trying to get a photo/tiny article into the Seminole Beacon newspaper from our Jan. 3 Discussion Group meeting. I have not been successful because there is one name of a person in our group photo that I cannot identify. It was the lady with the white/gray hair. She did not sign our sign in sheet. I sent a note to Jai Hambly asking her if she still has her e-mail sign-up sheet from that day. Jai has not yet answered me.

I thought I would give it one more try.....perhaps you 'caught' and remember the lady's name? If so, please tell me. My husband suggested I should have just written anything for the lady's name. I guess I should have done that, but I'm usually thinking of always trying to be totally honest. Oh well.....  Kindly let me know if your remember the lady's name! (I'll come up with a crazy prize for you!)

On another note......I just heard about an example of 'my kind of people'..... Have you heard of the fantastic accomplishments of Sarasota CLUCK? Boy, we need to interview these folks and find out how they got to be so large in number, as well as how they became so organized.....which brought them to a victory!  Check out: http://www.sarasotacluck.com             ZOWIE! Hi Eric!  Nice talking to you today.  Hopefully we can work together on this project somehow.   It will be great to meet you in person if you can make the meeting next Wednesday!   If not, please call me to come out to the farm soon!  Thanks again.

Thanks for the birthday wishes,

Todays a special day, I'm thinking of it as My Half Life Day.

I would like to live to be a healthy 130, so todays the half life day !!  Cool beans !!

I'm thinking I'll go to the raw restaurant tonight and try something different. I just finished reading the China Study, it's time to give up the Cheeseburger and a Beer Diet, at least part of the time.
I'm working, slowly working, on remodeling a home, then I plan on being more active with the movement, and planting a garden........and landscaping, and, and, and .....
