Check out the link below. I found it pleasing that the Duval County Extension office was offering aun organic gardening workshop with an intro to permaculture!! Also, if you read through the newsletter you will notice environmentally friendly advice offerings throughout. They also mention the Small Farmers Conference. I attended a "Gardening For Grades" workshop at the DC Ext and they really have it going on up there:)

The soil in West Hernando sucks so am looking to manage waste as fertilizer and use some land maybe those always dry drainage ponds. Anyway, who is in charge in Hernando? I couldn't find the link.

Unfortunately, our speaker was a 'no show'. It was disappointing, but it was pleasant that we had a City Council member and the Director of Public Works for the City of Seminole, both attending our meeting.
